Melina’s sequencing book, Art of Sequencing – Volume Three, will also be used to cover additional variations of Essential Poses.

What if I cannot attend all the sessions live?

We will be recording each session and posting them for your later review. They will be available for 2 weeks after the end of the program ONLY.

Are there any special requirements if I am a yoga teacher who wants to be certified in YFHA?

Yes, just a few:

  1. You must attend at least 25-hours of the program LIVE, and for any hours you miss, you must watch those sessions from the recordings and create an outline of what you learned and turn that in within 2 weeks of the last day of the program.

  2. Each teacher will teach a pose for about 5-minutes on the final day, as part of a sequence made up from the Essential Yoga poses in the book (your pose will be assigned). We will give you more info at the start of the program.

  3. Successfully complete an open book take-home exam and return it to us by Feb. 28th, 2021

  4. Send us confirmation of your 200-hour level teacher training (send with your completed exam)

- 2 firm blankets

- Yoga strap

- 2 yoga blocks

- A firm chair (like a folding metal chair)

Here’s what some of the recent students had to say about their experiences with the online YFHA Training:

"I think it is very important to mention just how amazing the online class format was. You were in class but had the benefit of being in your own space - so it was very comfortable and conducive to learning. We still felt like we were part of a community and the workshop flowed very smoothly. AND it brought the book YFHA to life.”

“The program helped me get unstuck in both physical and mental areas of my life!“

“I got tools to face the changes brought on by the Pandemic.”

“If you want to be invigorated and excited to teach, I highly recommend Yoga for Healthy Aging Zoom Immersion.  We were given a beautiful blend of yogic scientific/medical perspectives and Ayurveda regarding aging with practical new ideas.”

“The immersion has re-invigorated my yoga and stimulated my creativity.”

“I can now imagine aging gracefully.”

“This is a 5-star training!”
